mark williams 7,553
My TX is back now with the full £$%^&*() Tune. Here is her accuracy after giving the barrel a thorough clean and swapping over to JSB Exacts Express 7.87 g, 4.52 mm. This is a 5 shot group after a zeroing session tonight. I am going to put her to work for a week on the vermin and will put up a further post next weekend with the results. 5 Quote Link to post

Rez 4,961
There some big sodding pigeons you have round there Marko. 5p covers half the head of the ones round here. All you need now is a custom stock and to start scribberling 'witnessed' on that paperwork Nice man. 3 Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,553
Ha ! Ha ! Rez check the group size against those drawing pins This T Rex is incredibly accurate, silky smooth now. atb Quote Link to post
just-A-snap 1,269
Give yourself time Mark, must be still getting over the last ribbing. When they drop in the field one by one then you can knowingly smile to yourself with satisfaction. The extra confidence given and received, then money well spent, is it not? It was your money was it not after all? All the best in your life and with your hunting Mark. Renos 1 Quote Link to post

mattwhite 1,993
If it's anything like my welsh willie kit Mark you will need to put a tin though her and then you will see a huge difference to what it's like now. I'm sure you've noticed it's a smoother cycle than before already pal? 1 Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,553
She`s a different rifle altogether Matt. I`m out tonight after frozen rabbits and frozen pigeons with her. Come to think of it, how do you get Rabbits and Wood Pigeons to jump into your deep freeze ? I`ve promised a group of ferreting lads off the forum some rabbits/ pigeons etc so if I shoot `owt, I`ll chuck `em in the freezer ,as they are, for ferrets. Pays for the pellets atb. 1 Quote Link to post
mattwhite 1,993
I really pleased that it's been worth it Mark. I was dubious before fitting mine but I'm like that, I need to see it to believe it but it really is a different rifle. Give her a few pellets it will be so bloody accurate and less hold sensitive. Good luck with the frozen game this evening pal.? 1 Quote Link to post

Jonjon79 13,358
It's a shame that you're so far away - I wouldn't mind a go on that to feel the difference. I've never actually used a professionally tuned springer. My .22 feels nicer after I put in a new piston, spring and seal in it. Edited July 9, 2016 by Jonjon79 Quote Link to post
